Head of Strategy at Siemens Seoul
Since the beginning of 2015, Anton is heading the Strategy department of Siemens in Korea, which employs around 2,300 people in its 29 locations distributed across the country. In his current role he is responsible for the local implementation of the Siemens Group overall corporate strategy with great focus on Digitalization in all aspects. In order to create sustainable business, one of his main tasks is to identify and collaborate with innovative start-ups to foster disruptive ideas more vigorously and to accelerate the development of new technologies in selected fields, such as artificial intelligence, block-chain applications, connected (e-) mobility, autonomous machines, etc.
When Anton joined Siemens in Germany, he started as the head of Business Development at a newly acquired, small company, which had developed a promising technology for power generation as well as base chemicals production. During his time there the business grew into a low hundred million dollar range. Before coming to Korea he was engaged in the company’s mergers and acquisitions department supporting deals from due- diligence to closing.
Anton holds a joint master’s degree in Chemical Engineering and Business Administration and earned a colleague degree in Mechanical Engineering.
