Dean of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University
Dr. Lan XUE is a Cheung Kong Chair Professor and Dean of School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University. His teaching and research interests include science, technology and innovation policy, crisis management, and global governance. He has published widely in these areas, including, Risk Governance on Climate Change, which was published in 2014 by Science Press of China, and Globalization of Science and Technology and its Influence on China’s Development, which was published in 2015 by Tsinghua University Press. He also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Carnegie Mellon University and a Non-Resident Senior Fellow of Brookings Institution. He is a member of the National Committee for Strategic Consultation and Comprehensive Review, a Vice President of China Association of Public Administration, a member of the Visiting Committee for Harvard Kennedy School, and a Co-Chair of the Leadership Council of the Sustainable Development Solution Network (SDSN). He is a recipient of the Fudan Distinguished Contribution Award for Management Science.
