Qiang Zhang, the President of Beijing Qunar Software Technology Ltd., Co and CEO of Lvyue Group, has led both companies through ups and downs. Qunar.com is the second largest online travel agency in China and it completely changed the way Chinese people book their flight tickets, hotel accommodations and tours for their business trip and holidays. Zhang joined Alibaba Group in 2006 and had been awarded as Alibaba National Sales Champion for several times. He represented the ‘Passion: Optimism and Perseverance’ in Alibaba’s showcase campaign during its listing in Hong Kong. Zhang joined Meituan.com in 2011 as Reginal Sales Director, managing a sales team of 1200 staff who remained as the champion of groupon sales.

January 2014, Zhang joined Qunar as Vice President of the newly founded Destination Service Business Department. He brought in his sales skills and management system and worked together with Qunar’s Mobile Group to further develop Qunar’s Mobile App. Janurary 2016, Zhang has been promoted as Chief Operating Officer of Qunar.com and then at the beginning of 2017, Zhang was then promoted as the President of Qunar.com.

Since May 2016, Zhang founded Lvyue Group, an International hotel management group aiming to reshape the tourism industry supply chains and to upgrade the game of the tourism and hospitality industry through the power of innovation and technology.

Zhang has an EMBA degree at CKGSB (Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business).

Qunar, founded in May 2005 and headquartered in Beijing, is the world’s most popular Chinese travel platform Qunar’s mission is to create and maintain a fun and hassle-free one-stop travel information source for Chinese travelers. Lvyue Group, registered in Tianjin May 2016, received a 200 million RMB investment from Ctrip.com (the biggest online travel agency in Aisa, the second in the world next to Priceline). The aim of Lvyue is to reshape the tourism industry and hospitality industry through thenposwer of innovation and technology. Now Lvyue already has three hotel brands and 10 hotels up and running and by the end of 2017 there will be 30 hotels in China and abroad.
